Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Achieves Fastest Sales on PS5
Bethesda recently released Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for PlayStation 5, and early reports indicate that the game has achieved its fastest sales on Sony’s platform. According to an analysis by Alinea Analytics, the MachineGames action-adventure title is performing better on PS5 compared to its earlier launches on PC and Xbox.
Impressive Early Sales on PS5
Alinea Analytics reports that within the first six days of release, the PS5 version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle sold more than 117,000 units. In comparison, the same launch period for the Steam version showed about 91,000 units sold, roughly 28% lower than PS5 sales.
Estimates suggest that the game has sold approximately 310,000 copies on Steam to date. If the PS5 sales momentum continues, it is possible that PlayStation could surpass Steam's cumulative sales figures. Analysts have also speculated that had the game launched simultaneously across all platforms back in December, the PlayStation version might have recorded even higher sales.
Xbox Player Engagement
According to Alinea, around five million Xbox players have experienced Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, with a significant portion likely attributed to Game Pass subscribers.
What’s Next for Indiana Jones?
MachineGames is currently working on a story expansion titled The Order of the Giants, which is expected to release sometime in 2025.
